Gill, Edmund M. Went to meet the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at age 88. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth "Peg" (Zynda) for 63 years. Devoted father of Mary Beth (Dennis) Bialecki and David (Rayna) Gill. Loving grandfather of Michelle (Andrew) Zepeda, Amy Lynn Bialecki, Huxley Gill. Proud great-grandfather of Mazie and Kenzley Zepeda. Dear brother of Anne (the late Peter) Lemanski, James (Jane) Gill. Brother-in-law of Sheila (the late Myron) Zynda. Born a leap year baby in 1924, he lost his father at age 16. Through the years he worked in his mother's catering business, managed two restaurants, and was self-employed as an ice cream distributor for Golden Guernsey Dairy. He enjoyed a post-retirement career in the records management department at M&I Bank. Eddie will be remembered for his love of life and work, his energy and enthusiasm, his sense of humor and creativity. He loved to cook, take pictures, and enjoy his leisure time with family and friends, eating, playing cards and having a good laugh. He had a curiosity about the world, and a sincere interest in others' lives. His warmth and concern for those in his life and his commitment to selfless service made him a special human being. He was known for his ongoing dedication to the giving of his time and talents, particularly at church. He was recognized in 2010 by the St. Luke's Hospital Ministry with a 32-year service award for his monthly visits with patients as a Eucharistic Minister.
