Sobiek, Earl J. Entered God's loving arms on September 16, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of JoAnne (Lyman). Loving father of Steven (Wayne Graff) and the late Katherine Sobiek. Stepfather of William Lyman, Laurie (Joe) Perry and Lisa (Terry) Treuer. Grandfather of Megan, Alison, Tess, Jane, Brittany, Becca, Tyler, Luke and Jackson. Brother of Rosalie Smith, Jerry (Esther), the late Edward and the late Raymond Sobiek. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife Clare. Visitation Sunday 10am - 12 pm with a service at 12 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery. Earl served proudly in the Civilian Conservation Corps, started his own insurance agency and retired as one of American Family Insurance Company's longest serving agents.
