Potos, William B., M.D. Passed away on May 10, 2015 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Crystal (nee Thebo). Dear father of David Reimer, Aubree (Kyle) Berger, Stephanie (Mark) Biedlingmaier, and Paul (Diane) Potos. Grandpa of Eric Biedlingmaier, Amanda and Megan Potos. Devoted son of the late Peter Potos and the late Helen Potos-Benjamin. Step son of the late Dr. Hiram B. Benjamin. Left to treasure his memory are his brothers Chris (Lesa) Potos and Andrew (Kathryn) Potos as well as aunts Georgia (Richard) Schneider and Sofia Zacharias. He will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends. Visitation Thursday 10-10:45 am with a mass at 11 am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (9400 W. Congress St., Milwaukee). Private interment. Dr. Potos graduated from the Marquette University School of Medicine in June 1960. He spent his surgical internship at the University of Minnesota. His internship was interrupted when he was drafted into the US Navy as a Naval Lieutenant physician and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Upon his honorable discharge, he entered Family Medicine at Fine-Lando Clinic in Cudahy, where he continued to practice medicine for almost 50 years. In the course of his esteemed career, he delivered over 3, 000 babies and served many thousands of patients. He loved spending time at his place in Door County, enjoyed the symphony, as well as tennis, golf and travel.
