Dr. Robert Anthony Bello

Bello, Dr. Robert A. Found peace on November 3, 2012 at the age of 88. Adored husband of Jane for 51 years. Loving father of Deborah (Gene) Esway, Guy, Jean "Ginger" (Bob) and Jane "Cookie". Proud grandfather of Heather (Matt), Noah, Jennifer (Dan) and Chris. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. A celebration of Dr. Bob's life will be held Saturday November 10, 2012 from 1:30-3 pm with a prayer service at 3 pm at FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH (S. 76th and 2 blocks north of Drexel Ave., Franklin). Dr. Bob was a well known chiropractor for 31 years who retired at 50 and started the Handi-Cabs Bus Company to transport disabled kids. He was a member of Tuckaway Country Club for over 50 years where he enjoyed playing golf and cards with the men on Thursdays. He lived life with a real courage and had a wonderful way of putting any problems into proper perspective. Throughout life he was respectful to all and intimidated by none. He fought courageously with grace, dignity and a sense of humor. Bob's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Horizon Hospice for all of their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Autism Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
