Dovie O. Pattengale

Dovie O. Pattengale Also known as Dovie Buetow On August 1, 2022, Dovie went home to be with the Lord. She was 97years old. Dovie is survived by her children, Sandra (Kieth) Schultz, Peggy Buetow and Diane Kirschbaum. Grandchildren Phillip Schultz (Lupe), Sarah Schultz, Madeline Buetow and Rachel (Jesse) Perez. Great grandmother of Hannah (Carl), David (Samantha) and Elise (Gideon). Great Great Grandmother of Nara, Cayden and Saige. Further survived by 2 Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and 8 Siblings. Dovie was born on March 4, 1925, in Rockcastle County, Ky. After moving to Wisconsin, she married, had children and began a Nursing Assistant career. She worked at West Allis Memorial Hospital for 40+ years. Dovie had many, many friends and would often cook up meals to feed anyone, from the Mailman to the Roofers working on her house. She was often spotted taking a batch of freshly baked cookies to neighbors! Sincere gratitude to all the Caregivers and Staff at Hickory Park Senior Living Center, and especially to Adan at St. Croix Hospice. At this time, no funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.
