Douglas E. Strandt

Douglas “Doug” E. Strandt, age 71, of Big Bend, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 29, 2022. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Linda Strandt; his loving children Danny (Sarah), Theresa, Nick, Brian (Ali), Liz, Bobby (Liz), and Chris “Ofie”; his adoring grandchildren Rose, Grace, Lucy, David, Abigail, Bridget, Cecilia, Evelyn, Gordon, Gannon, Liam, and Lana; his siblings; his granddogs along with many more family and friends. Services will be held at Max A Sass & Sons Funeral Home – Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Loomis Rd, Franklin). Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7 from 4 pm until 7 pm with the Franciscan Crown Rosary at 7 pm. A Requiem Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 8 at 11 am with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family would like to give special thanks to Jayne and Maureen from ProHealth Care Home Care for the loving care shown to Doug and his family. Doug kept his sense of humor right up until the end. He was deeply loved and will be missed incredibly.
