Doris M. Luisier (nee Papke, formerly Burmeister) Found peace on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 91. Dear mother of Gregory (Carol) Burmeister, Russell (Sara) Burmeister, Katherine (Mark) Bakula, Dawn (Louis) Netz and Georgann (Ron) Kalhagen. Grandmother of Lynn, Christine, Kevin, Laura, Steven, Nicholas and Sara. Beloved companion of Mel Podevels. Sister of Anne (Jerry) Straecker. Doris will also be missed by 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Charles Sr. and Mary Papke, her brother Charles Jr., her husband Ralph Luisier and her former husband George L. Burmeister. A special thank you to the staff of Hales Corners Care Center for the excellent care shown to Doris. Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., on Wednesday, January 8 from 10 - 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
