Alamilla, Doris ''Barrie'' (nee Barritt) Born to life on July 5, 1921 in Bradford, England, born to eternal life on July 25, 2007, at the age of 86 years. Survived by her husband Ernest, daughter Michelle (Stephen) Smith, son Michael (Gail) Alamilla, grandsons Michael and Andrew Smith, granddaughters Jacqueline Loiacono and Sarah Spadanuda, great granddaughters Elyse Alamilla and Francesca Loiacono, and great grandsons Anthony Loiacono and Corey Spadanuda. Barrie served in the Royal Air Force Bomber Command in France during World War II. The family wishes to give a sincere thanks to all the staff at St. Francis Hospital and Asera Hospice for all their kind compassion and love given to Barrie. Barrie taught her family to cherish that which lasts: compelling literature, stirring music, an appreciation of history, respect and reverence for all things living, compassion for the less fortunate and an unwavering faith in the goodness of humanity. Private Family Services were held.
