Donna Marie Gigl

Gigl, Donna Marie (nee Slicker) Found peace on November 5, 2019 at the age of 76. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael. Daughter of the late Roy and Gertrude Slicker. Dear niece of Arlene Kuri. Loving mother of David (Robbin) Gigl and Thomas (Jill and Brittany) Gigl. Devoted sister to Janice (Tom) Hablewitz, Carol (Mark) Deprez, Thomas (Olive) Slicker, and Joan Slicker. Dear friend of Sharon Winterbottom. Adoring grandma of Adam and Cory. Loving aunt to Bobby, Aaron, Kenny, Roy, Jeff, Eric, Kari and Doug. Further survived by other cherished relatives and friends. Donna enjoyed her time working at St. Francis Hospital and Reiman Publications. Her favorite hobbies included crafting and scrapbooking, gardening and canning, making soap with her sisters, sewing and cleaning. She found delight in completing puzzles on her kitchen table. She enjoyed TV, especially watching the Packers, Food Network, and the Weather channel. Donna always loved a good nap! Additionally, she loved all things Disney and made several trips to Disney World during her life. She cared for animals and really loved Dave and Robbin’s late beagle, Charlie. She also made friends with a few animals at the nursing home including Black Nose and Happy, the squirrels and Tall Boy, the pigeon. They liked when she fed them peanuts. The most precious thing in the world to Donna was her family which she loved with all her heart especially her boys. Donna will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A private family “celebration of life” will be held in lieu of a funeral.
