Donald William Hoffman Donald William Hoffman was born to eternal life on July 29, 2022, at the age of 87. Born on October 4, 1934, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to the late Walter and Agnes Hoffman (nee Scheurer). Devoted husband of 64 years to Marilyn Florence Hoffman (nee Malecki). Loving father of son Tracy (Eileen) Hoffman, son Cory (Terry) Hoffman, and daughter Holly (Rob) Ligocki. Beloved “Grampy” to 8 grandchildren (Bethany (Matthew), Eric, Amanda, Ashley (Nate), Leslie, Natalie, Danielle and Andrea) and “Great-Grampy” to 4 great-grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by brother Paul (the late Lacille) Hoffman, sister-in-law Sharon (the late Ed) Malecki and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by sisters Carolyn Hoffman and Maryann (Orville) Burdick. Donald served his country by spending 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He took joy in attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events, and was devoted to his Catholic faith. Private services and burial with military honors were recently held. Memorial contributions to the Greendale Public Library or to the Saint Alphonsus Parish Emergency Food Pantry are greatly appreciated.
