Donald R. Schultz, a dedicated professional and cherished family man, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 76. Born on December 6, 1948, in Milwaukee, he spent his life contributing to his community and nurturing meaningful relationships.

Donald had a distinguished career with the City of Milwaukee, serving for over 35 years as an Architectural Drafting Technician. His dedication to his work and his unwavering commitment to excellence were hallmarks of his career, earning him the respect of colleagues and the community alike.

A proud veteran, Donald served honorably in the United States Army. 

In his personal life, Donald shared a deep and loving bond with his wife, Judy (nee Anderson), with whom he enjoyed 36 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they found joy in various activities, including their shared love for competitive Ball Room Dancing, where they graced the dance floor with elegance and style.

Donald was also an avid automobile enthusiast and proudly held membership in the Wisconsin Early Mustangers Club for two decades. This was just one of many interests that showcased his vibrant personality and love for life.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Judy, as well as his brother-in-law to Carol (Thomas) Hoff, David (Carol) Anderson, Paul Anderson, John (Beverly) Anderson, and Barbara (James) Erdmann. Donald's legacy continues through a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Russell, whose guidance and support undoubtedly shaped the man he became.

A visitation will be held on February 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, located at 9306 W. Beloit Road, Milwaukee, WI. This will be followed by a Mass at the same location at 11:30 AM, concluding with a burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove at 11:00 AM on February 21, 2025.

Donald R. Schultz leaves behind a rich legacy of love, dedication, and passion that will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him. His warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be sorely missed.
