Thompson, Donald O. Entered Eternal Life on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 58 years to Patricia (Nee Shanahan). Dear Father of Mary (David) Carlson, Nancy (Robin) Spangler, Thomas (Mary Ann) Thompson, Susan Thompson and Christopher Thompson. Grandfather of James (Dottie) Thompson, Jennifer (Craig) Jansen, Daniel Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Morgan Spangler, Nathan (Melissa) Spangler, Lauren (Corey) Tutaj, Austin Spangler, Catherine Carlson and Andrew (Jamie) Carlson. Great grandfather of Ian, William, Owen, Kaelie, Nolan, Madison, Devin and Andrew. Son of the late Nathan and Armen (Nee Le Duc) Thompson. Dear brother of Sharon Reupert, Carole (Albertus) South, Gervas (Janet) Thompson, Kenneth (Patsy) Thompson, Adrienne (Kenneth) Tomic and Michael (Kathleen) Thompson. Brother-in-law of Audrey Shanahan, Margaret (Lawrence) Prohaska and Thomas Shanahan. Further survived by other loving relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2011, 4-8PM with Vigil service at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 S. 116th St., 11AM with visitation at the church from 10AM until the time of mass. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
