Reed, Donald L. Found peace on September 27, 2014. shortly after celebrating his 90th birthday surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Florence Reed (Morton) and his brothers Les, Rich and Bert.. Survived by his wife of 64 years Mary, and his brother Harry (Shirley) Reed. Loving father of Robert (Nora), Thomas (Kathy), Paul, Jean Swenby (Gary), and Kathy Stiller (Cory). Will be remembered, and greatly missed, by his grandchildren Eric, Nikki, Austin, Rachel, Chase, Kara, Matt, Ryan, Jacob, Scott, and Michael. Born and raised in Stevens Point, WI, Don graduated from PJ Jacobs High School and proudly served his country as a volunteer in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Upon his return, Don began his 34 year career with Delco Electronics, from which he retired in 1986. Don enjoyed time spent with his family, his friends, his garden, and the occasional martini. A visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale, WI) on Wednesday October 1, 2014 from 9:30 -10:45 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 AM.
