Donald H. Bockmann

Donald H. Bockmann passed away peacefully April 8, 2022, at the age of 101. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth, parents Edgar and Lucille Bockmann and his sister Ruth Hanson. Beloved father of Bryan (Shelley) Bockmann and Diane (Dan) Lowry. Grandpa of Jennifer Lowry, Amanda (Brandon) Derus, Jon (Madelaine Coyle) Bockmann. He is also survived by his nephew Dale Swenson and his family, other relatives, and countless friends. Donald was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran who served proudly in Europe. He was very active in the Greenfield Little League program and was an employee of Greenfield Parks and Rec after retiring from Oilgear Co. He loved dancing with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. He was active at his church as an usher and served as a church trustee. He played senior softball and volleyball, bowled and golfed. He was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan. Viewing and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 9-11AM at MAX A SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL, 4747 S 60th Street, Greenfield WI 53220, 414-282-4050. Followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W Greenfield Ave. New Berlin, WI.
