Don passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 82. He is survived by Barbara, his loving wife of 57 years. He was preceded in death by his parents William August Robish and Beatrice Grace Robish and brother William Robish. Further survived by sister Gail Souders; sister - in -law Juanita Robish; nephew William Robish and niece Debra (Paul) Premetz, and other relatives and friends.
Don graduated from South Division High School. He worked for Security Savings and Loan/Bank as a Real-Estate Broker/Property Management for 34 years. He was a member of the Milwaukee Board of Realtors.
He loved cats, and brought home many strays and rescues and all outdoor birds and animals and made sure they had food every day, in rain, sleet and snow.
He and his wife traveled all over the United States on vacations and cruises to Alaska and the Panama Canal.
Don volunteered for the draft in 1961 and was E4/Spec. 4th Class and served in Egypt as a cryptographer in the Army First Infantry until his discharge in 1967. While looking for a job, Don delivered bakery items to Dutchland Dairy in Cudahy and there met his future wife.
Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons South Shore Chapel on Monday, June 17 from 10 AM - 12 PM. Service at 12 PM.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful, caring staff of Creek Side Terrace and Preceptor Home Health Hospice.
