Whelan, Dolores M. (Nee Ludka) Passed peacefully away with her family around her and went to be with her beloved husband Larry of 41 years on January 19, 2009, age 81 years. Loving mom of Denise Whelan (Jimmie Sustache). Extraordinary grandmother of Tracie (Mark) Manke and Kristopher Moffatt (Eva). Honorary grandmother of Linda Fait (William MacDonald), Carlos Fait (Erica Kelly) and Amber Horst. Cherished great-grandmother of Hayley and Laurayn. Honorary great-grandmother of Sabrena, Mitchell, Victoria, Justin, Savanna and Ana. Dear aunt of Dennis (Gail) Ludka, Scott (LeeAnn) Coyer, Ricky (Theresa) Ludka and Jimmy (Nancy) Ludka. Dear sister-in-law of Farrell (Molly) Whelan. Further survived by her life-long beautician and friend Patty. Also survived by other relatives and friends. A special thank you goes to Jimmie from Denise and Tracie for the dignity that you let grandma keep in her final years. Many thanks to the caregivers at Harbour House and SouthPointe for their care, support and kindness, especially in her final hours.
