Dolores J Wrzesinski

September 21, 1926 — November 23, 2016

Wrzesinski, Dolores J. Born September 21, 1926 in the Town of Vernon. She just celebrated her 90th birthday with family, friends and residents of Heritage Memory Care, Pewaukee. Ms. Dolores went to the arms of her Heavenly Father Wednesday morning, November 23, 2016. There she joined her family, mother and father Mary Marie (Stanley) Wrzesinski, her brothers Herman (Ilene) Wolf and Robert (Darlene) Wrzesinski, and sisters Irene (Russel) Zebrick and Gertrude (Edward) Luedtke and many other relatives and special friends. The card playing has resumed. She attended UW-Whitewater and then Marquette University and graduated with "Baccalaurei Philosophiae" in June 1948. Her first teaching positions were one room schools, Guthrie and Vernon School. She also taught at Muskego Elementary and Muskego High School. She retired from Muskego School District after 40 years of teaching. She was a dedicated, motivational and inspiring teacher. History, math and English were her favorite subjects. Dolores was a very spiritual person, loved her Church and attending Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Big Bend. She enjoyed volunteering for the Church Festival, fish fry's and bingo nights. Dolores enjoyed traveling and going to family celebrations and taking trips to the casinos. Family and young children always held a very special spot in her heart. She was a avid Brewers, Packers, Marquette and Wisconsin sports fan. She looked forward to Packer parties with the Litschauers. We wish to thank all of the people from Seasons Hospice for their loving and special care for Dolores in her last months. Also a very special thank you to her special care giver and companion, her niece Barb Litschauer, and her private night care givers Juli Grap, Jody Marzello and Christine Roberts. These caring ladies became her loving second family, always sharing treats with her, silly stories and Dolores's favorite TV programs. Dolores is further survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many treasured friends. Dolores would appreciate donations to her favorite charities: St. Joseph Church, Big Bend; the Waukesha Humane Society or St. Joseph's Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326. Visitation on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue, Big Bend from 10am until 10:45am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha, meeting at 2:30pm on Wednesday.
