Poplawski, Dolores A. (nee Raffel) Found peace on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Henry "Hank" Poplawski, for 59 years. Dear mom of Jill (Barry) Blenski, Ellen (Geoff Blankenmeyer) Poplawski and Cindy (Pete) Chirafisi. Loving grandma of Angela (Scott), Peter Henry, Ian (Abbie), Kailey, Alaina, Cooper Henry and Mason. Proud great grandma of Ellie, Alex and Owen Henry. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by her siblings Harvey and Shirley. Dolores enjoyed time spent with family and was very dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid card player and enjoyed playing 500 rummy. Visitation at Blessed John Paul II Parish-St. Alexander Church, 1568 W. Holt Ave., on Tuesday, May 31, from 9-10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff from Aurora at Home Hospice, Stowell Associates and Home Care Assistance for the compassionate care they provided to Dolores.
