Devon Eric Kaplanek

Devon E. Kaplanek 23, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2016. He was born July 6, 1993 to proud parents Damon and Lynn (Graf) Kaplanek. He left behind his parents, two adoring sisters Dana and Dianna, grandmothers Lynda Singleton of South Milwaukee, Linda Graf of Fond du Lac, grandfather Dennis Kaplanek of South Milwaukee, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his pride and joy Brutus.He is preceeded in death by his great grandparents Don and Janet Singleton, John and Barbara Graf, Edward and Phyllis Kaplanek. Devon was a 2011 graduate of South Milwaukee High School where he played baseball and football for the Rockets. As an adult he followed in his fathers footprints as a "garage door man". He worked for Consolidated Door Co. and most recently joined the family business of Damon Doors and Loading Dock Equipment, working side by side with his dad to someday take over the reigns.
