Dennis M. Amaturo

Passed away after a sudden illness on September 23, 2021 at age 78. Lovingly survived by his wife Gale. Beloved father of Marisa and Matthew. Dear brother of Dede (the late Gerry) Payne. Special uncle of Heidi, Amy, Mike and Brian. Cherished great uncle to Austin, Elli and Andy. He will be loved, remembered and missed by many life long friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Frank and Lois Amaturo and by his original 1969 Porsche 912. Dennis served in the Army Reserves for over 30 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was an Assistant Hospital Administrator at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex for over 35 years. He ran the food pantry at St. Martin of Tours for over 10 years. Dennis was a former member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI) on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 11-12:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
