Denise Ann Goos

Our beloved Denise Goos (nee Zyniecki) passed away at the age of 67 on April 14th with her adored children by her side at St. Lukes South Shore Hospital. Her welcoming party included her parents, Leona (nee Bury) & Gerald Zyniecki; cherished Aunt (Alice Pallo), brother (Duane Zyniecki), former spouse (Dana Goos); and her heart throb (Burt Reynolds). We hope she’s now living her dream of dancing on Soul Train! Our new guardian angel was an Oak Creek’ian for most of her life, escaping to Beverly Hills, FL for about 10 years. You may know her from being Lead Teller at Waterstone Bank, Manager of Payless at Southgate Mall, or when she waitressed at DeRango’s or Cupid. We’re positive she was sashaying to her favorite high school lip-sync song, “Leader of the Pack”, leaving behind her daughter Becky (Steve) Klohn; son Nicholas; cousins Rick (Jill) Pallo, Randy (Kathy) Pallo, Gaye (Mike) Schwabe, Doug (Shannon) Pallo, and Jim Pallo; many “Dolly’s”; former sister-in-law Debbie (Terry) Melcarek; and former spouse Don Schermer. She was entertained by her new “bonus” great-granddaughter Daisy Klohn and the report cards of her fur-granddaughter Diesel Schermer. She was taken from us too soon but is now at peace. When the COVID-19 social distancing has passed, we will celebrate her life the way she wanted.
