We are saddened to announce that on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Debra Lynn Mutza (née Tomasino) entered into Heaven at the age of 72. Debra was born on June 26, 1952, and she passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Debra was the beloved wife of Wayne Mutza, her devoted partner in life's journey. She was the loving mother of Drew Dutkiewicz and Chris Olson, married to Ryan, who will forever hold dear the memories of their mother's unwavering support and warmth. Debra also embraced the role of treasured stepmother to Jason Mutza and remembered fondly her stepson Joseph Mutza. Her brother, David Tomasino, and his wife, Maryanne, will miss their dear sister's presence and laughter at family gatherings.
Debra's love extended to her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, all of whom benefited from her nurturing spirit. Friends, too, felt the embrace of her caring nature, and her four-legged companion, Luna, was a testament to Debra's love for her dogs and all creatures great and small.
Professionally, Debra dedicated her life to serving others. She began her career as a paramedic for the City of Milwaukee, where her quick thinking and compassionate care saved countless lives. Later, she channeled her nurturing spirit into a second career as an aesthetician, helping people feel their best both inside and out. Her colleagues in both fields remember Debra for her dedication, skill, and the kindness she showed to everyone she worked with.
Debra's interests were a mirror of her inner beauty. She had a passion for crafting and decorating, her creative touch bringing joy and color to the lives of her family and friends. An avid gardener, she found peace and pleasure in the tranquility of her garden, a space she nurtured with the same care she gave to her relationships.
Those who knew Debra would describe her as a beacon of love and creativity. Her kind heart and generous spirit knew no bounds. She was a woman who spread kindness wherever she went, touching lives with her strong character and leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of many.
As we bid farewell to Debra Lynn Mutza, we celebrate the life she lived so fully and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will continue to bloom in the gardens she tended, the projects she crafted, and most importantly, in the hearts of those she loved. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit remains a guiding light that will continue to inspire and comfort us for years to come.
Debra's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and creativity, woven with the threads of the countless lives she touched. She has left us with a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten, a testament to the extraordinary woman she was. Rest in peace, Debra. Your love lives on.
