Born on January 6, 1964, to Nancy and the late Jack Fluur, Debra’s zest for life and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
After graduating from Alexander Hamilton High School, Debra went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her love for helping others and her dedication to her studies laid the foundation for her career in home health care. Debra had an unwavering commitment to her patients, providing them with care and comfort, and she was deeply respected within her professional community.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Debra was a creative soul. She co-owned an Etsy shop named Twisted Florals with her daughter, Lisa. Debra’s artistic talents shone brightly as she made mouse ears and floral arrangements for their business. The beautiful creations she made were not just products but a reflection of her love for art and her family. Her passion for her craft was evident in the intricacy of each piece she created, and her work brought joy to many customers.
Family was at the heart of everything Debra did. She is survived by her devoted husband, Neil Ullerich, her loving children, Lisa (Sean) Hren, and David Ullerich, and her cherished granddaughter, Elaine Hren. She also leaves behind her supportive brother, Steven Fluur, and is preceded in death by her in-laws, the late Elaine and Louis Ullerich. Debra’s family was her world, and she made sure to fill their lives with love, warmth, and kindness.
Debra's interests extended beyond her work. She enjoyed family vacations, creating lifelong memories with her loved ones. Her spirit of adventure and fun-loving nature made every trip a unique and cherished experience. Debra’s laughter and joy were infectious, making her the life of every family gathering.
Debra Ullerich was a woman of many qualities. She was loving, kind, and selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her unwavering positivity and strength were inspiring, and she faced the challenges life threw at her with grace and courage. She was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
