Sadowski, Debra Ann (Nee Roeland) Sadowski, Debra Ann, age 59, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009, surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of her home. Debra was born in Superior, WI, to the late Norbert and Ruth Roeland and was raised in Menasha, WI. She lived in the Milwaukee/Franklin area as a loving wife for nearly forty years to Michael Sadowski and devoted mother of Andrew (Vicki), Daniel (Jennifer) and Sara (Andrew) Pforr. Debra was the adoring grandmother of Ashley, Peter, Anna, Nathan, Ashley, Chloe, Addy and Jonah; cherished sister of Dyann (Robert) Abel, Michael (Barbara) Roeland and sister-in-law of Ervin (Jacki) Sadowski and Mary (Ronald) Kirby; beloved daughter-in-law of Joana and the late Ervin Sadowski; dear aunt of Elizabeth, David (Debra), Thomas, Jessica, Steven (Gina), Patrick, Steven (Jennifer), Cheryl (Brad), Jason (Danielle), Krista (Michael), Ronald (Kristin), Hannah, Samuel and 14 great-nieces and nephews. Debra is further survived by her dearest friends, Marcia Malone, Mary Hutchinson and Cathryn Todd. She was a proud alumna of Marquette University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing. Debra bestowed a thirty-year gift of friendship, service and leadership to countless emergency department staff and patients at St. Luke's Medical Center. The high standards and integrity she modeled live on. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Divgi and the team of medical professionals at Oncology Alliance. Thank you, Debra, for modeling infinite optimism and humility and for teaching us that the best things in life aren't things, to expect to be lucky, and the beauty of life's moments can be found in the poetry of lyrics. You are our hero. Celebration of Life: Please join us on Monday, May 25, 2009, for an open reception from 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., eulogies at 4:00 p.m. at the Polish Center of Wisconsin at 6941 S. 68th Street in Franklin, Wisconsin.
