Found Peace on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at age 65, after a long and courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Debbie loved to do crafts and was known for her beautiful knitting and crocheting. She would spend weeks creating heirlooms that she shared with her family. Her work was sold in local craft shops and craft fairs. Debbie had a strong love for anything Disney. She made hundreds of beaded Disney pictures, but her biggest joy was her family. She was the beloved Mother of Mark (Angelia) Mundt, proud grandmother of Levi, John and Ashland. Debbie was the loving daughter of Marlene Mundt and was preceded in death by her father, Ray Mundt. She shared an incredible bond with her three sisters, Susan (Eugene) Williams, Laurie (Niels) van Wieringen, and Linda (Allan) Preske. Debbie’s commitment to her family continued with the love she had for her Nieces and Nephews, Michael (Tari) Williams, Kellie (Joseph) Anderson, Karen Williams, Kimberly Williams, Andrew (Jessica) Preske, Joseph Preske, Justin van Wieringen, William Preske (Sara Uecker), Stephanie van Wieringen (Colin Mulroe). She also had an incredible extended family with many crazy cousins, great nieces and great nephews. The family wants to thank Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for their loving care of Debbie in her final days and Dr. Rubina Qamar for finding treatments that provided Debbie with an amazing 7+ years post diagnosis. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2020 at the Max Sass Funeral Home-Oklahoma Chapel from 4-8 PM. Additional visitation will take place on Friday from 9AM until time of service at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Debbie’s name to the American Breast Cancer Foundation (abcf.org) or Aurora Zilber Family Hospice (aahgiving.org).
