David W. Barczak

Barczak, David W. Born September 15, 1930, born to eternal life October 12, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Loving husband of Jo Ann (nee Harwell) for 52 years. Devoted father of Dawn (Rodney) Mattrisch and Matt (Katie) Barczak. Proud “PaPa” of Benjamin Mattrisch and Drake Barczak. Dear brother of Maxine (Dan) Rapoport, Wayne (Janice) Barczak, Gary Barczak, and Jim (Mary) Barczak. Brother-in-law of Judy Barczak. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Further survived by his aunts Margie and Esther, his uncle Joey and other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Max Barczak (former Milwaukee County Sheriff and Milwaukee County Treasurer). David will be missed by all of his family and many good friends. Special thank you to all of the Emergency ICCU staff at St. Francis Hospital for all of their care. During his life, David was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Air Force, a former Milwaukee Police Department officer, sales manager for Pabst Brewery and Federl Distributor and the marketing manager for the Wisconsin State Fair. David was the founding father of the Greendale Football Booster Club and remained a great supporter of Greendale Football.
