David Michael Cassini

It is with great sorrow that the family of David Michael Cassini announces his passing on May 9, 2021. David was born on March 11, 1990 to Thomas and Leila Cassini. He is survived by his proud brother Thomas Cassini and his brother’s fiancée Jenna Gilson; his loving grandparents Thomas and Marianne Cassini; and Leonel and Rose Guajardo. David is further survived by his aunts and uncles Lisa and Bill, Joe and Susie, Andy and Terri, Rose, Chris and Diane, Leo and Linda. David will never be forgotten by his cousins Emily and Jeremy, Megan, Julie and Sam, Danilo and Candice, Laura, Marko and Amanda, Glenna and Wyatt, Lauren and Andy, Leah and Devin, Sophia, Cooper, Ellason, and Jackson. David graduated magna cum laude from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in 2013. After college, David went on to pursue a life of service by working for The Boys and Girls Club and most recently at Willowcrest Health Services. His most recent position was a “Life Enrichment Coordinator” for the elderly residents of Willowcrest. This title not only describes his profession, but also exemplifies the effect he had on all who knew him, young and old. David loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers with family, playing video games with friends, and getting outside to run, bike, and play Pokemon. He enjoyed expressing himself through music and art. Although his life was short, he took full advantage of every second. His impact on those left behind lasts well beyond his time with us. A celebration of life will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons – Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin) on Friday, May 14 from 2 – 5 p.m. with a service to follow. Memorial donations in David’s honor can be made to the Cassini Family and will be used to continue enriching the lives of the residents at Willowcrest.
