David M. Galvan, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 93. Born on September 21, 1931, in Milwaukee, he spent his life cherishing the simple joys and responsibilities that came with family and community.

David dedicated over 35 years of his career to Harnischfeger Corporation, where he was known for his hard work and commitment until his retirement in 1992. His contributions to the company left a lasting impact, and he forged many friendships along the way.

A proud veteran, David served in the United States Army during the Korean War, an experience that deeply shaped his character and values. His love for his country was evident in his everyday actions and his zest for life.

David found joy in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Bucks, passionately cheering for his teams through every season. David cherished time spent outdoors, taking great pride in his yard work, and he truly enjoyed traveling and attending movies—all activities that brought him closer to his loved ones.

David's family was the center of his universe. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, and their three children: Michelle (Michael Sendziak) Galvan, Michael Galvan, and Maureen Harbeck. He took immense pride in his role as a grandpa to Marisa (Joey) Konrath and Kyle Harbeck and as a great grandpa to Landon, Karsyn, Spencer, and Scarlett. His legacy of love and support will continue to thrive through them. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his dear sisters, Tina and Linda.

Preceding David in death were his parents, Marcus and Mary, alongside his siblings Rita, Robert, and Tony.
