David G. Kilpatrick

David Grier Kilpatrick, P.E. Engineer David Grier Kilpatrick, 87, a retired electrical engineer, formally of the Philadelphia area and San Antonio Texas, passed away on Saturday August 1, 2015 in Milwaukee, WI. Born in Renova, PA, he was the son of Jane (Whitehead) Kilpatrick and the Rev. Alexander John Kilpatrick. David was a veteran of the Korean War where he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Bronze Star for acts of heroism during combat. David had a long and productive career in engineering and was a pioneer in the field of biomedical Engineering. One of his proudest accomplishments was to be elected a Fellow in the IEEE. David is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lorraine B. Kilpatrick of Menomonee Falls, WI, daughters; Dr. Laurie Kilpatrick and husband Dr. William Fox of Penn Valley, PA, Dara Lee Kilpatrick of Friendship, ME, son; Craig Kilpatrick and wife Mary of Cudahy, WI, sister; Martha K. Wise and husband Ralph of Ohio, grandchildren; Myles M. and Bridget R. Dunigan, and Lauren H. Fox. A memorial celebration of David's life will be held for the family on August 29th in Menomonie Falls, WI.
