David C. Holberg, 79, Franklin died on Monday, May 30, 2022. He was born on August 24, 1942, in West Allis to the late Clarence and Elaine (Stevenson) Holberg. David retired from the City of Franklin Police Department after 30 years of service. He enjoyed camping trips with his travel trailer and watching NASCAR. David wintered in Florida and took joy in camping locally as well as taking the trailer out west. David is survived by his loving wife Nila, sons David, Brian (Kim) Holberg, sister Donna and his dog Jade, nieces, nephews and other relatives. David was preceded in death by his siblings Judy and Bill. Visitation at the MAX A SASS & SONS MISSION HILL CHAPEL (8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin) on Thursday June 2, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Additional visitation at the ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH (6881 s 51st St., Franklin) on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Oak Creek.
