Darlene Elizabeth Bueckers (Fleischmann) 80, was carried Home to Jesus on September 7th, 2021. Darlene was born July 8th, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Thiensville. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert, and her three children – Anne Marie Adams (Bueckers) Randy Adams, David Bueckers, Christine Bueckers (Pirovano), Michael Bueckers, Rosanne (Matuszewski) and her three grandchildren Lorraine Bueckers, Elizabeth Bueckers and Theresa Bueckers. Darlene is also survived by 3 sisters – her twin sister, Marlene Gutowski (Fleischmann), Carol Fleischmann, and Nancy Bechtel (Fleischmann) and many loving friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Fleischmann, brothers-in-law Gerald Bueckers and Chester Gutowski, and her father and mother-in-law Anthony and Mathilda Bueckers. In her younger years, Darlene worked as a nurse’s aide at Trinity Memorial Hospital in Cudahy, JC Penny as an interior decorator, and then as an assembler at Delco Electronics in Kokomo, Indiana and Oak Creek, Wisconsin. She had so much joy raising her three children with her husband Bob and adored her three beautiful grandchildren. Robert and Darlene enjoyed spending their winters in Clearwater, Florida for 25 years after retirement. They moved to Muskego, Wisconsin in 1995 to live on Little Muskego Lake where they entertained friends and family. Ever strong in her faith, she was an active member in the parish at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Muskego, Wisconsin, the Christian Mothers Organization, and the Muskego Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed playing Bridge and Dominoes with her friends, drawing and painting. She loved to cook and put so much love into the meals she prepared. Darlene’s friendly disposition and generous nature endeared her to so many people – she radiated love all around her. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 19th at 11:15 a.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, W173 S7743 Westwood Drive in Muskego, WI. Prior to mass, there will be visitation in the vestibule/gathering space at St. Leonard’s Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. After mass, a private burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St. Union Grove, Wisconsin 53182 on Friday, November 19th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We thank you in advance for respecting the family’s request to wear a mask while in the church.
