Marciniak, Darlene A. (Nee Flancher) Passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin at the age of 66. Darlene is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Marciniak. Loving mother of Amy (Paul) Grau and Holly Marciniak. Loving grandma to Carter and Cooper Grau. Darlene was born on November 22, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to LeRoy and Stella Flancher. She married Thomas on July 1, 1972, and moved to Oak Creek to start a family. Darlene cherished the years she spent as a homemaker for her two children and husband. As her children grew older, she began working at the Oak Creek Public Library, where she worked as a Library Aide for 27 years before she retired. "Grandma Dar" treasured time with her two grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, book reader, crafter, jewelry-maker and all-around artist. Her sense of humor, her creative spirit and her warm heart will truly be missed by her family and friends. A visitation is scheduled on Thursday, December 7 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at St. Matthews Parish (9303 S. Chicago Rd.) in Oak Creek, Wis., with a Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Archbishop Jerome Listecki and Fr. Patrick OLoughlin will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Darlene's life.
