Daniel James Yaccarino joined God in heaven on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the age of 27. Dan was born on November 2, 1997, to proud parents Dennis and Karen (Binder) Yaccarino. Daniel’s true impact was felt through his actions and the warmth he extended to those around him. He was a beacon of joy and kindness throughout his life.
Daniel was a 2016 graduate of Greendale High School. He furthered his education by obtaining two CNC Machining technical diplomas from the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). Professionally, Daniel was an integral part of the team working for the ABB Group doing assembly. Prior to that he was employed by MATC in the CNC Lab, and by the Milwaukee County Zoo seasonal employment. He was known everywhere for his friendly demeanor and smiling dedication. His involvement with Boy Scout Troop 596 was a significant part of his life. He earned the rank of Eagle in 2015, and his eagle project was supportive of the Greendale High School Garden for which he had spent several years working through volunteerism. His outdoor produce wash station, pyramid planter, and picnic tables are in continuous use by both the garden and the high school and will long serve as memory of Daniel’s generosity.
Dan was a quiet soul who blossomed in the presence of his loved ones, showcasing a generous, thoughtful, and respectful nature. Even at a young age, Daniel exhibited a maturity enjoying conversations with adults and always showing a deep appreciation for his family. He was an avid computer and video gamer, sharing countless hours of joy and camaraderie with his siblings Zachary (Morgan), Jenni (Ryan), Nicole, Andrew, and Erin, as well as his numerous friends. His family was his highest priority. His infectious smile and his love for giving hugs and fist bumps were emblematic of his approach to life, making friends with ease and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Time spent with Daniel was time spent feeling loved as he had a unique way of making every moment together meaningful.
He is survived by his loving parents, his siblings, his grandparents Barb and Al Yaccarino, grandmother Lynn Binder, and a host of friends and extended family members who will cherish his memory. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather John Binder, his brother Joshua, and his aunt Karen.
