Daniel “Danny” P. Sobczak

Born to eternal life January 27, 2025 at the age of 88. 

Daniel was born in Milwaukee on September 22, 1936 to the late Peter and Lillian (Nee Talatzko) Sobczak.

Beloved husband of the late Deanna (Nee Huber) Sobczak. Loving father of Debra (Tony) Weber and David (Lisa) Sobczak. Further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, many cousins and other relatives and many friends.

Daniel graduated from Pulaski High School in 1955. Soon after graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. He then returned to Milwaukee where he met his beloved wife Deanna at a parade. They spent 60 years together in Greendale before her passing in 2020.

He worked for Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) for 35 years retiring in 1996. 

He was a longtime member of St. Alphonsus Parish in Greendale.

Daniel enjoyed dancing, traveling with his wife Deanna, Hunting and Fishing. He loved entertaining at family and friends get togethers. He was an Avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers, even attended the Ice Bowl. He also never missed a game of the Brewers, Bucks and Badgers.

He loved watching Columbo, Gun Smoke, The Rifleman and any western.

Visitation at St. Alphonsus Parish (6060 W. Loomis Road Greendale, WI) on Wednesday February 12, 2025 from 10:30 – 11:45 AM with the funeral mass to begin at 12 noon. Private Interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. would be appreciated.
