Ziolkowski, Daniel J. "Dan" "Mr. Z" Entered God's loving arms on Monday, August 25, 2014. Age 78 Beloved husband of Diane (nee Murawski) for 56 years. Father of James (Josephine), Mary Fredrich, David (Jennifer) and Sandra (Joe). Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother of Margie (the late Al) Mezsick, Rita (the late Frank) Zukowski, Joanne Dobert, the late Leonard (Alice), the late Joseph, the late Michael (Ceil) and the late Dorothy (the late Chester) Sochaczek. Brother-in-law of Richard (Dee) Murawski and Sharon Murawski. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, South Shore Chapel, on Tuesday, September 2, 4-8pm with a vigil service at 7pm. And a brief visitation at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 800 Marquette Avenue . South Milwaukee, on Wednesday, September 3, 10-11am. Followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11am. Burial at St Adalbert Cemetery. Dan proudly served his country in the Army as part of the Military police in Germany. He retired from the Milwaukee Police Dept. with over 25 years of service and he was an alderman who served the people of the Milwaukee14th aldermanic district. He was a member of the Excelsior Club, VFW, AMVETS post 0060, American Legion Police Post # 0415, Milwaukee Retired Police Association. Dan was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Max A.
