Daniel G. Chvilicek

Passed away at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee, WI on August 16th, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Grob) for 47 years. Loving father of Katie and Adam (Michelle). Adoring grandfather of Lydia, Paulina, Noah, and Eli. Dear brother of Bonnie Jensen and David (Debbie) Chvilicek. Further survived by many other family members and friends. Daniel was a proud Vietnam veteran and served with the United States Navy and was a member of the Oelschlaeger-Dallmann American Legion Post #434 Oak Creek, WI. Daniel spent many years as a marine electrician at Bayship Ship Building Corporation in Sturgeon Bay, WI where he and his family lived for 20 years. He was an avid member of the Oak Creek Pioneer Farm Machinery Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed wine-making, cooking, hunting, fishing, gardening, coin collecting, and spending time with his family and friends. Sass and Sons Funeral Home 4747 S. 60th St., Greenfield WI 53220 on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 5-7pm with a 7pm time for sharing memories. Additional visitation to follow Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 10-10:45am with funeral mass to follow at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Church located at 8500 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield, WI 53228. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine to follow.
