Daniel F. Rieck

Fell asleep in Jesus on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy (nee' Edwards), daughter Karen Gromowski-Lietzowski, son David (Jody nee' Richter), brother Gordon (Joyce nee' Tretow), 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren. Preceeded in death by parents Fred and Alma (nee' Bodanske) and infant sons Gary and Brian. Dan was a 61 year member of NALC Branch 2, a letter carrier for 33 years, and worked diligently to establish and promote Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild Rose, WI through the Lutheran Laymen's League and Laborers for Christ.
