Dale F. Rothe

September 2, 1935 — June 7, 2009

Surrounded by his loving family, Dale F. Rothe was born to eternal life on June 7, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Slowinski). Loving father of Sharon and Patrick. Dearest fiance of Cheryl Mantz. Proud grandpa of 8 grandchildren. Cherished brother of Kathleen (Alan) Riegg, Karen Rothe-Osband and Glenn (Donna). Proud son of the late Loretta and the late Roman Rothe. Dale was loved by many people, most of whom considered him to be one of their best friends. He was a caring person to all who met him, a mentor to everyone who needed help, a role model to all who knew him and a positive encouraging person who treated everyone with respect. He kept his faith in God and his sense of humor until the end and was an inspiration to anyone who knew his story. He loved fishing, bowling, golfing, spending time with his family and friends and was a devoted local historian of American Indian Culture. Dale retired from the IRS after 32 years of service. He was a proud volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House for 17 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House are appreciated.
