Dale A. Castine, age 50, of LeRaysville, PA, passed away on October 16, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Dale was born on February 18, 1967, in Muskego, WI, the son of Grover Butch and Carol Castine, both of Muskego, WI. He graduated from Muskego High School with the Class of 1985. Dale proudly served his country with the United States Army. He was part of the 78 th Engineers and they were stationed in Germany. Dale was a custom cabinet-maker for his own company, DC Custom Cabinets. He loved riding motorcycles and would ride everywhere he could. He was a member of the American Legion Riders Post #996 of Dushore, PA. Dale loved to entertain his family and friends by having cookouts and grilling. Family and friends have said that Dale could make friends with anyone. Dale loved his family and friends very much as well as his dog, Milo. Besides his parents, Dale is survived by his son Zachary Castine of Kenosha, WI; daughter Kirsten Castine of Racine, WI; and he also had a granddaughter on the way. Also surviving is his brother Donald Castine of Sherman Oaks, CA; sister Debbie Lewis (David) of Waterford, WI; aunt Doris Harding of Fort Atkinson, WI; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy Decker Castine, who passed away on January 27, 2002. Funeral services for Dale will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church Street, Wyalusing, PA with Reverend Scott Ryan of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church officiating. Military honors will be conducted prior to the funeral service and will be conducted by the members of the Rought Hall Post #510 American Legion, the Dennis Strong Post #457 American Legion, and the Endless Mountains Post #3583 V.F.W. Funeral services will also be held on October 25, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Max. A Sass Funeral Home, W173 S7629 Westwood Drive, Muskego, WI. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha, WI.
