Clarence R. Kosikowski

January 2, 1941 — January 3, 2024

Clarence R. Kosikowski, born to eternal life on  Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the age of 83. Clarence was predeceased by his beloved wife Claire, with whom he shared 58 happy years of marriage. Loving father of Pamela (Steven) Gabrish, Martha (Patrick) McGuinnis and Christopher (Jill) Kosikowski. Dear grandfather of Julia Sloneker, Jacob and Karl Harris, Eddie and Augie McGuinnis and Mathew and Andrew Kosikowski. Proud great-grandfather of baby Quinn Sloneker. Brother to 5 deceased siblings (Frank, Lawrence, Rose Marie, Daniel, and Edward). Loved and survived by other family and friends.


Visitation at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280N2101 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072 on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha.


Clarence's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his gentle and patient demeanor, his active intellect and his thoughtful and generous spirit. He was educated at Marquette University and retired from a career as a professional educator at Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). He traveled extensively with his wife Claire and enjoyed participating in numerous sports and cultural activities. He took great care and interest in his family members’ lives, enabled joyful family gatherings, and continually supported his grandchildren’s educational and athletic endeavors. He enjoyed intellectual activities, read extensively, and stayed mentally sharp by engaging in card and word games. His faith was central to his life; he was an active member of his Catholic parish, where he contributed as a lector. Clarence will be missed by all who knew him.


In lieu of flowers, monetary donations in remembrance of Clarence and Claire Kosikowski may be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc WI, or to the Conservancy for Healing and Heritage in Franklin, WI. Please contact Martha McGuinnis (daughter) for coordination of donations as needed.
