Found eternal peace on April 15, 2023 at age 84. Beloved wife of the late Carl Wauer. Lovingly survived by her children Jill (the late David Salentine) Wauer, Wendi (Dennis) Pipkorn, Shari (Dale) Nothem and Timothy (Michelle) Wauer. Cherished grandma of Shannon (Steve) Klaas, Kathlyn (Andrew) Gollup, Abegail Pipkorn, Samantha (Steve) Langjahr, Amelya “Molly” Pipkorn, Whitney Nothem, Tyler (Heidi) Salentine, Sawyer Pipkorn, Justin (Alison) Wauer, Issac Nothem, Richard Wauer and Steven Wauer. Proud great grandma of David, Adeline, Alexander, Evelyn, Aria, Brantley, Natalie, Scarlett, and Cade. Dear sister of Jim (Carol) Giesegh, Joe Giesegh, Tony Giesegh, Ernie (Noreen) Giesegh and George (Margie) Giesegh. Special sister in law of Joan Modrow. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She had many interests: reading, travel, card games, picture puzzles, bingo, cross word puzzles, family games and playing video poker at the casino. Clare was an avid Milwaukee Brewers Fan and Green Bay Packers Fan. She enjoyed mexican food and spending a lot of happy family time in Northern Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held at the Max Sass Funeral Home – Westwood Chapel on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Lung Association or the Muskego Food Pantry.
