Christine Joan Malicki

Christine Joan Malicki, born on April 9, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, left this world on February 5, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She dedicated her life to a career in telecommunications at Allis Chalmers, where she built lasting friendships and made invaluable contributions.

Christine was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and laughter. She was not only a devoted mother and grandmother but also an exceptional friend to many. Her gentle spirit was evident in everything she did, expressing itself through her passion for cooking and her love for family. A master in the kitchen, Christine’s famous shant torte brought joy to every holiday gathering, as she treasured the time spent with her family during those special moments. Her radiant laugh was contagious, lighting up any room and bringing smiles to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She delighted in traveling and exploring new places, with memorable trips to Disney World, Arizona, Door County, and Wisconsin Dells filling her heart with joy and adventure. Christine had a passion for reading and often found comfort in coloring alongside her beloved grandchildren. An ardent lover of furniture shopping, she always enjoyed wandering into new stores, discovering pieces that would add warmth to her home.

Christine's family was her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her loving children, Michael Malicki (Connie), Julie Beecher, and Kerry Malicki (Alen), as well as her 12 treasured grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, all of whom were blessed to experience her boundless love. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Chybowski, and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

Christine joins her late husband, Jerome Malicki, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage for 51 years. She is also reunited with her beloved daughters, Diana Borowski (Gary) and Deborah Malicki, who left this earth too soon. Additionally, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol Czarnecki (John), her grandson, Jojo Malicki, and her parents, Leonard and Caroline Chybowski.

A visitation to honor Christine will take place on February 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church located at 9306 W. Beloit Road, Milwaukee, WI 53219. Following the visitation, a Mass will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.

Christine Joan Malicki’s legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who loved her. She will always be remembered for her immense heart, her extraordinary ability to listen, and the joy she brought to every life she touched. Her spirit will remain alive in the countless memories shared among her family and friends.
