Lemke Keene, Christine M. “Chris” nee Lemke. Born to eternal life on October 21, 2007. Age 42 years. Loving wife of Raymond J. Cherished and devoted mother of Carly Marie. Beloved daughter of Richard and Carol Lemke. Dear sister of Carrie Lemke, John (Lisa) Lemke and Julie Katzman. Dear daughter-in-law of Lawrence Keene and the late Jean Keene. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs. Oct. 25, 11 AM at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W. FOREST HOME AVE. Visitation AT THE CHURCH on Thurs. from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Chris worked at the United States Bowling Congress for 24 years. Her current job as Charities Coordinator included overseeing the Bowl for the Cure program which has raised over $5 million dollars for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Chris touched many lives through her job at USBC. She will be deeply missed. Chris fought a brave seven year battle with breast cancer, but anyone who knew her only saw a passionate, fun-loving, caring person who was full of life.
