Christine Renee Ainsworth "Cissy" Welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 68. Preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Gladys (nee Tank) Ainsworth, sister- in-law Nancy (Ecklund) Ainsworth, and great nephew Wyatt Schwarz. Survived by brother Ronald, nephew Jacob (Zabdi) - son Caspian, and nieces: Lisa, Jennifer, and Becky (Steven) Schwarz - son Barrett. God blessed Chris/Cissy with gentleness in her actions, an ability to listen without judgement and a sense of humor she shared with everyone. Encouraging all and aiding all as she was able. Throughout many challenges God brought her way, she handled them with grace and praised His name. Aunt Cissy absolutely adored her nephew and nieces completely, showing how proud she was of them with her license plate ‘Aunt4x’. Anytime they wanted to talk or asked her to be somewhere, she made it happen. She provided an atmosphere of fun, creativity with her ability to create stories. - such as her fictional roommate Mr. Goober. She even wrote a WHOLE story about the dangers of exploding green Jello. She played hide and seek, made Christmas fudge and Christmas cookies complete with a flour fight. As adults now, she beamed with pride whenever she spoke of them. Throughout Cissy’s life, she loved to write. Poems about the people she loved and stories on many topics, always with a meaning and / or dedicated to those she loved. Many of her stories with her family have been documented in personal Shutterfly books: ”Moments to Hold” and “Walk with me”. Cissy published a children’s book – The Ziggon Zaggon Dragon Brothers. She had a soft heart for any animal; though cats had her at their first meow. Most were adopted through animal shelters or from friends and even a stray that just knew she’d find him a home found his way into her heart. Her working career was primarily spent with the Blood Center of Wisconsin. She started as a blood taker (vampire), drove the Blood Center van to multiple blood drives and finally as a Supervisor of the Mobile units. She had started writing some stories about those years and her adventures at the blood center. To the rest of us, Chris was friend, cousin, sister extraordinaire! We will miss her tremendously but are so looking forward to seeing her again in heaven. We know she’ll be waiting for us with her gentle smile, some new stories and a great big hug! If you have stories you’d like to share with the family of adventures you had with Chris, we would love to have them. Instead of flowers please consider making a donation to the Humane Society.
