Christian U. Diompy

It is with great sadness that the family of Christian Uleif Diompy announces his passing after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer on Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 40. Christian will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Christine and his children Leia, Jude and Zaina. Christian will also be fondly remembered by his mother and father, Lucie & Francois Diompy, and eight brothers and sisters in Senegal, Africa and by sister-in-law Jennifer, brother-in-law Jeff (Gina), numerous nieces and nephews, friends, students and co-workers. A lifetime athlete, Christian enjoyed working out and teaching fitness classes, especially at his "second home," the Princeton Club in New Berlin. He also leaves behind his beloved students at Atlas Preparatory Academy where he has taught and administered for the past 6 years. After meeting Christine while she was on a mission trip to Senegal twelve years ago, Christian moved to the United States to be with her, and they soon started a family. While here, Christian left an indelible impression on those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. His spirit and optimism will continue to inspire all those who knew him. A celebration of Christian's life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI 53130. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. with services to begin at 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Fund has been set up for the young Diompy children's future education expenses.
