Cheryl A. Sackmaster

Sackmaster, Cheryl A. (nee Surdyk) born March 19, 1962 and found peace early Sunday morning, September 4, 2016 while at home completing her long battle with cancer at the age of 54. Cheryl was a very strong, well respected woman who inspired and touched the hearts and lives of those who knew her. Cheryl was very proud of and adored her family as we did her. With all of her heart she leaves husband Don L. Sackmaster and children William D. Schattschneider and Sarah J. Schattschneider (Joe Maresh) with tears and smiles. Cheryl was the daughter of Dorine (Robert) Schmies (nee Komassa) and the late David Surdyk, and sister to David Jr. She also leaves behind sister and brother in-laws Kelly (Frank) Hass, Katie (Rick) Hilpert, Kris (Gil) Brzezinski, Kerry (Scott) Strittmater and many other close relatives and friends. The Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 10am to 2pm at the MAX A SASS & SONS SOUTH SHORE CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family and/or St. Mark's Episcopal Church of South Milwaukee would be appreciated.
