Charles A. “Chuck” Muehlbauer

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 22, 2024 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Audrey. Loving father of Dean (Barbara) and the late Nancie (the late Robert) Maas. Proud grandpa of Bradley (Lori) Maas, Brian (Cheryl) Mass, Derek (Kallie) Muehlbauer, and Justin (Kayla) Muehlbauer. Great grandpa of Alex, Taylor, Kylie, Daxton, Delta, Chase, and Hailee. Dear brother of Lois Tesch. Further survived by loved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Chuck was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during WWII. He retired from the Milwaukee Journal after 32 years of dedicated service. One of his favorite sayings was, “I’ve been retired longer than I worked”. He loved to work in his flower garden, doing word-search puzzles, and dogs.

Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, WI 53132) on Saturday, December 28 starting at 10AM until time of service at 12PM.
