La Barbara, Charles J. "Chuck" Age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia (Nee Meylor) La Barbara. Devoted son of the late John and Mary (Nee Tomasino) La Barbara and son-in-law of the late James and Ethel (Nee Cullins) Meylor. Loving Dad of Patti (Richard) Eidemiller, Colleen Collins (Chuck Turner), Linda (Jay) Urban and Charles M. La Barbara. Dear Grandpa to Ricky (Chrissey Nee Orth) Eidemiller, Bryan (Emi Nee Topp) Eidemiller, Kim, Nick and Jackie Glasenapp, Samantha and Robert Collins. Great-Grandpa to Evie, Brielle and Jayda Eidemiller. Brother to the late Salvatore (Audrey) La Barbara and brother-in-law of Thomas (Jeannie) Koplinski. Dear Uncle to Ted and Ann La Barbara, Susie and Mark Ostovich, Mary Beth and Laura Koplinski, Maria, Jamie, Ashley and Sean Ostovich. Chuck was also like a grandfather to Aaron, Allen, Andrew and Tony. He was employed at Falk, Maynard and retired from Heat Treating Engineers. Memorial gathering in the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from2 to 4 PM. A funeral service will follow at 4 PM. Interment will be private.
