Charles J. Kiefer

Kiefer, Charles J. Went home to God January 16, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of the late Jenny (Nee Mustas), the late Viola (Nee Lang) and the late Lois Kiefer. Loving father of the late Charles M. Kiefer, Diane (Wayne) Dalton, Henry Roepke, Jennifer (Dean Wozniak) Norton and the late Jack (Auralie) Slowey. Loving grandfather of Adam Kiefer, Wayne (Janet) Dalton, Gina (Cash) Masters, Sean, Kevin, Nial and Katie. Great grandfather of Victoria and Clayton. Brother of the late Marion (Carl) Schulz, Roland (Lillian) Kiefer and the late Ruth (Joseph) Spehert. Also preceded in death by his parents Martin (Ida) Kiefer. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Loved by many children as "Charlie the bus driver" with the Greenfield Schools during the 50's and 60's. Charles proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL, Franklin on Friday January 23 from 4-8 pm and thereafter at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, (68th & Forest Home) on Saturday from 9 - 9:45 AM. Funeral Services at 10 AM at the church. Interment Highland Memorial Park. Memorials to St. Johns Lutheran church or the Alzheimers Association appreciated.
