Cecilia Mary "Cindy" Janick-Pederson, aged 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 7, 2025, at her home in Franklin, WI. Born on November 19, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI, Cindy was a beacon of creativity, generosity, and courage throughout her life.

Cindy graduated from West Allis Central High School in 1977 and devoted 38 years of her life to Aurora Health Care, where she was not only a valued employee but also an active participant in various community and health initiatives. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her dedication to her family and her passions.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Mike Pederson; her children, Greg Kowalski, Erin (Jack) Wallisch, and Nikki (Justin) Byers; her cherished grandchildren, Evelynn and Rosalie; and her sister, Pauline Crawford, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Cindy's role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister was infused with love, warmth, and the occasional spark of her delightful humor.

Cindy's creative spirit shone brightly in her love for crafting. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in making blankets, creating beautiful flower gardens, and assembling vibrant bouquets that brought joy to all who received them. Her artistic touch extended beyond the canvas of her home and into the hearts of her family and friends.

Music was another of Cindy's great loves. She relished the opportunity to attend concerts. Her love for grunge and alternative music was infectious, and she was often found singing in the car and dancing, leaving behind a legacy of melodies and memories.

Those who knew Cindy will remember her for her boundless creativity, which was evident in every aspect of her life. Her generosity knew no limits; she gave freely of her time, her talent, and her love. Cindy faced life's challenges with unyielding courage, inspiring those around her to approach their own obstacles with the same fortitude.

Cindy's life was a testament to the beauty that can be created when one pours their heart into their passions and nurtures the relationships that matter most. Her family takes solace in the knowledge that her legacy will continue to blossom in the lives of all who were touched by her kindness and her spirited approach to life.

As we bid farewell to Cindy, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible imprint she has left on this world. Her spirit will forever be cherished and her memory will continue to inspire us all. Her family takes comfort in the belief that Cindy's story does not end here, but rather continues in the lives she has shaped and the love she has spread.

Cindy's life will be honored with a memorial service, where her family and close friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a life lived to the fullest. As the seasons change and the flowers in her garden bloom once more, we will be reminded of Cindy's enduring presence and the color she brought into our world.

Cindy Janick-Pederson will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to guide us, just as the stars she loved to gaze upon. Her journey on this earth was a dance of joy, creativity, and love—a dance that will continue in the hearts of those who loved her.
